CYCLES

Everything cycles
like the earth around the sun.
We fled an invasion of violent do-gooders
 who knew best how we should all live.

We travelled to the other side of our circling 
globe to a land of promises and musicals
only to find the same humanitarians 
chaining and punishing anything free.
